We’re Looking for a few lucky tile hosts!

Part-Time, $15/hour, Gladstone

The Lucky Tile is a beautiful, welcoming place to play mahjong, meet friends, learn something new, and enjoy a little time away from the everyday. We’re looking for a warm, dependable Guest Host to help make every visit feel special.

What You’ll Do

Welcome & Help Guests

• Greet guests and help with check-in and reservations

• Answer basic questions about The Lucky Tile and open play

• Help guests get settled at their tables

• Provide basic mahjong orientation and know when to call in an expert

Retail & Tables

• Help customers shop for mahjong tiles, cards, mats, racks, and accessories

• Run the checkout counter and keep retail displays stocked and beautiful

• Prepare and reset mahjong tables with in-house supplies

• Keep games and supplies organized

Hospitality

• Keep complimentary snacks and beverages stocked

• Keep tables, chairs, and guest areas tidy throughout the day

• Complete a quick end-of-shift reset so the space always looks its best

• NO bathroom cleaning or dishwashing!

We’re Looking For Someone Who Is

• Friendly, warm, and genuinely enjoys people

• Dependable and comfortable working independently

• Detail-oriented and naturally tidy

• Comfortable learning how to use a POS system and learning new tools

• Interested in learning the basics of American mahjong

• Someone who notices what needs to be done without always being asked

Mahjong experience is a plus, but absolutely not required. You do not need to be a mahjong expert—we’ll teach you the basics.

The Details

• Part-time, approximately 25–30 hours/week

• Employee discount on all retail

• Some evenings and Saturdays required

• $15/hour

• Gladstone, MO (no e-tax!)
